Venattus' philosophy
For centuries, the deer has been considered one of the most “sacred” animals in the different mythologies on the face of the earth. Many cultures have venerated it for this reason, for its strength and its power to renew itself in life , since it changes its antlers every year.
Every year, at the end of winter and beginning of spring, this majestic animal sheds its antlers to grow new ones. This act of sacrifice, of renewal, of resilience, of rebirth, of shedding the old to make way for what is to come , for the new… is called desmogue. Don’t you think it’s incredible? It’s the deer’s antlers that make it wiser, more of a leader, more persuasive, stronger , and yet it sheds them again and again with the intention of improving them every year even though it knows that the time it is without them is vulnerable and it is that vulnerability that makes it a symbol of strength and courage.
And so, at the end of 2022, in a mountainous area of the Iberian Peninsula and with a heart divided between Cantabrian and Castilian lands, Venattus was born, but it was not until April 2023 when it came to light as you know it now. And, like a deer, shedding old mentalities, what was obsolete, what no longer served us...we created a new way of life willing to share it with anyone who wants to.
We are Cecilia and Cristina, two lovers of Sport, Mountains and Nature. Creators of Venattus and its philosophy. We decided to “hit the table” and start dreaming.
From this renewal Venattus was born, our passion turned into a clothing brand that breathes freedom and joins the heartbeat of those who choose to live without limits. At Venattus, we are inspired by the untamed essence of nature, seeking to reflect it in every fiber of our garments. LIVE FREE is not simply our motto, it is the mantra that drives every design and every garment we create. Our clothing is designed for those who seek to escape from the conventional, who find their freedom in the unbridled race along steep paths and in the conquest of imposing peaks even if it means renewing themselves. That is why we dared to dream...
